Greensboro, NC – April 28, 2023 – Another year of recognition for Stake Center Locating as three individuals won awards in three different categories in the 21st Annual American Business Awards®. First and foremost, Stake Center Locating’s Chief Executive Officer, Heath Martin, received a Gold Stevie Award for Achievement in Management – Business & Professional Services.
Having just taken the role of Chief Executive Officer, this nomination was focused primarily around accomplishments Heath has already achieved as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. As noted by one of the judges “True leader projecting great accomplishments and exponential growth of business.” This describes Heath very well, making him a perfect fit following the announcement of George Baer’s retirement.
For the second year in a row, Chief Information Officer, David Kennedy, won a Bronze Award for Technology Executive of the Year. David continues to be recognized because as one judge noted he “…has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills in driving efficiency and productivity.” David’s hard work and vision has helped drive Stake Center in a more efficient direction.
The third award went to Ashley Zolot, Marketing Manager, as she won a Silver Stevie® Award for Marketer of the Year. The judges noted her achievements in both internal and external communications, resulting in this Silver Award.
